A video done in partnership with Frame Set where I detail my inspirational journey in attempting to recreate one of cinematographer Bradford Young’s shots from the Denis Villeneuve’s Arrival (2017)
At the request of a subscriber I made a video the basics of the unusual video production workflow for the Sigma fp. I really enjoy sharing my knowledge with people and it’s fun flexing my tutorial writing and video editing skills.
In this video I share one my often-used methods for color grading the raw CinemaDNG footage that comes of out the Sigma fp. Grab your favorite beverage, cozy up and enjoy.
A collection of my favorite memories from our dream vacation in Thailand in October 2022. It was an unforgettable trip, and I’m so glad that I had the opportunity to capture it so beautifully. Everything was shot on the Sigma fp (love that camera)

This is my first-impressions review of what is quickly becoming my favorite creative tool - the Sigma fp. Fantastic little camera in an even more fantastically unique little package. This video did pretty well on YouTube and Sigma liked it enough to re-post and send me some of their gear to review. Enjoy!
What started as a sunrise lens test for the Sigma Art 18-35mm f/1.8, turned into a deeply personal experimental-type short film about self-acceptance and freedom from toxic, judgemental energy. Alan Watts’ voice always does something to me when I hear it and I’ve always wanted to use the texture of it and the instant nostalgia it seems to evoke to help tell a story. Enjoy.

I’d been wanting to do a video like this for a long time. It was my first real test of Zhiyun Crane 2s with my Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 4k and I’m beyond happy with the results. The model was beautiful, the music was inspiring and the location was stunning - all resulting in a fantastic piece that I’m very proud of.

This is the very last thing I shot with my Canon 7D before I purchased my blackmagic pocket cinema camera in 2019. Still a great little camera. It was the very first “real” camera that I owned and it’ll always hold a special place in my heart
A hosted video for my YouTube channel explaining my entire creative ideation and execution process for one of my video portraits. This one took a lot of work in deciding on a format, writing the script, setting up the graphics toolkit, and editing down to a manageable time. Love the way it came out though. Can’t wait to do more like this one.
I struggle with confidence and focus all the time - confidence that I can complete the projects that I take on and the focus needed to get them done in a reasonable time frame so that they don't hinder the progress of others. More often than not, the main obstacle blocking the path to my creative success - is me. I'm also the only one able to get myself back on track when I lose my way. It's a process, and I'm learning to respect and love it with each new creative journey.

Our artwork represents a self-aware expression of a subjective view on the collective experience that we call "life's journey." While we all share in the experience, our stories are all different. In this way our story is our own, but it belongs to everyone.
This piece uses metaphorical imagery in the left and right panels, in addition to how that imagery commingles with the center portrait, to conceptually explore the collective human experience of losing yourself in thoughts of the past and future.
Ultimately we aim to combine traditional portrait photography and video elements with both realistic abstract representations of nature, technology, and reflections of all types into one experimental, unifying audio-visual experience.
