This was done in collaboration with the incredibly talented Shanna Ferris of @opticalescapes.

Our artwork represents a self-aware expression of a subjective view on the collective experience that we call "life's journey." While we all share in the experience, our stories are all different. In this way our story is our own, but it belongs to everyone.

This piece uses metaphorical imagery in the left and right panels, in addition to how that imagery commingles with the center portrait, to conceptually explore the collective human experience of losing yourself in thoughts of the past and future.

Ultimately we aim to combine traditional portrait photography and video elements with both realistic abstract representations of nature, technology, and reflections of all types into one experimental, unifying audio-visual experience.
